Rumors of war with Iraq for the second time in three administrations may be true. The possibility of nuclear weapon development has been proven to be under way by a defecting Iraqi scientist and many defecting top military leaders. President Bush seems ready to finish the job his father should have done and wants to topple the unliked Iraqi dictator. Many lives would be saved in Iraq as the massacre of shiite muslims in the south of Iraq and Kurds in the north would be stopped. Is the invasion worth the potential loss of American and allied forces life though?
My answer is yes. Not only will the destruction of Saddam Hussein save many lives in Iraq, it will give the Iraqi people a sense of hope they have not had for a long time. In a region wracked by war and filled with hate a new government in Iraq could bring some stability to the region. White House lawyers have now concluded that congressional approvement will not be needed to go towar with Iraq. This must mean war right?
Saddam Hussein is a great threat and a enemy of our country and many others. This man pays the family of Palestinian homicide (suicide) bombers when their
relatives murder countless Israelis. Stop the murder of innocent civilians in Israel and in America also if this madman had his way. Bush spokesman Scott McClellan claims the rumors about war to be pure speculation. One major worry many have is that if it comes to war the US may have to fight alone or with our steadfast ally Great Britain. Whatever the case we will be ridding the world of a evil that is equal to Adolf Hitler. A baby killer....a man who has used chemical weapons on the innocents of his own country. A leader he calls himself? A murderer is what he is. A homicide King of terrorism.
